This resource is designed to support science teachers in addressing concepts in electricity in the BOS NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum in Science - Stage 3. Making decisions about the use of electricity is approached from an understanding of circuits, sources and sustainability.

  • This excellent resource supports year 6 and 8 science students who are learning about electricity as part of the physical sciences Science Understanding in the Australian Curriculum as well as addressing the cross curriculum priority, Sustainability and personal and social capability. It comprehensively addresses all aspects of the Australian Curriculum Science Understanding while also promoting Science Inquiry Skills and understanding of Science as a Human Endeavour. It provides opportunities for students to design and make items that transform or transfer electricity.
